ABC’s Good Morning America Launches Wellness Series with Visit to Salt Studio
Halomed-Equipped Salt Room Among Halomed NA’s First Customers

ABC's Good Morning America launched a wellness series on Dec. 28, and the first topic? Halotherapy! The segment’s producer did a commendable job including a lot of factual material in a brief period of time. Halomed North America was thrilled to have the Halomed-equipped Salt Studio of Pasadena, Ca., featured.

Salt Studio was one of Halomed North America’s first customers when the company opened in 2012, and their salt room was built with Halomed’s expertise in salt room construction. Read here to learn more about how the Diana and Michael Leone, who own Salt Studio, discovered halotherapy and why they decided to expand their massage and natural skin care business with the addition of two salt rooms – one for adults and one for children.

In the GMA segment, Diana explained the basics of salt therapy and how it supports wellness. Comments from two loyal customers, who explained the benefits of salt therapy for breathing and skin comfort, will likely help others decide whether salt therapy might be worth trying.
Comments from ABC health reporter Dr. Jennifer Ashton, and the American Lung Association's Senior Scientific Advisor, Dr. Norman Edelman, an NYC pulmonologist, added depth to the discussion.
